Quentin Bisch’s energy makes the air around him electric as he talks about scents. This all- encompassing passion is what brought a music student and an artistic director of a performing company to perfumery. A one-month internship in Grasse was all it took to find his true vocation and then devote the next several years to studying fragrance composition. The arts continue to inspire Quentin. He creates perfumes in the same way he might direct a theatre performance using strong ideas, careful embellishments and surprising effects.
He has been honored best perfumer in 2020. He signed fragrances for Jean Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne, Saint Laurent, Azzaro, Mugler, Chloe, Ex Nihilo, Etat Libre d’Orange…
Bois Impérial
Freshly crushed and spicy Thai Basil leaves meet the sparkling peppery and grapefruit facets of Nepalese Timut Pepper absolute. A brilliant combination that contrasts perfectly with the bold woody signature of the fragrance.
A green, rich and earthy Haitian Vetiver oil echoes with Georgywood – an exclusive molecule with powerful cedarwood tones. This vibrating woody association is illuminated by the sophisticated floralcy of Petalia.
Majestic Akigalawood truly signs the fragrance. This exclusive natural ingredient is upcycled from Patchouli through a biotechnology process. Its unique spicy-woody character is enhanced by a rich Indonesian Patchouli oil and a powerful, sustainable note of Ambrofix.

On the skin, the opening retains its irresistible sparkle. Black pepper electrifies timut berry in an invigorating flight of spicy facets. Gradually, the floral heart settles in, revealing a new richness: rose absolute adds palpable density to the eau de parfum’s petal-like facets. Finally, Bois Impérial Extrait asserts its distinctive identity in its trail, blending the rising elegance of Atlas cedar with the depth of leathery notes and the liqueur-like effects of fir balsam and labdanum.
